First Consideration: Function
When picking frames, the first point to consider is how they meet your lifestyle and functional needs. Are you looking for a sharp silhouette for everyday workwear or more of a statement style? Are they intended for occasional reading or working on screens all day? Frames are here to serve a purpose, and your specific needs will greatly impact the style you opt for. Our frames are handcrafted in two main materials: titanium and acetate.
Titanium- Lightweight & Refined
Our wire frames are made from the finest titanium, which is a renowned material for it's lightweight yet durable properties. Titanium's featherlight and naturally hypoallergenic properties make a great solution for those who intend to wear their frames for long periods of time.
Acetate- Chunk & Bold

Frame Shapes
The angular silhouettes of square frames will balance out faces that are naturally round, with fuller cheeks and a curved jawline.
These styles suit most shapes but complement those with more curves to their face, like oval, heart and round.
The sharp angles of rectangular frames help contrast softer jawlines and features for those with rounded, heart or oval shaped faces.
Opposites attract, where round frames look best on angular faces like square, diamond and heart shaped.
A more playful frame, cat eye styles draw corners upwards, emphasising the face and cheeks ideal for those with oval, heart and rounded shapes.
The dramatic nature of oversized frames suits most face shapes, from round and heart to oval and diamond.

If you’re after a truly unique frame or something a bit different, our Bespoke services offers three tiers of personalisation. Available at all Cutler and Gross locations, Bespoke appointments take place over the course of an hour or two as, together with one of our expert opticians, we design your personalised frame. An unique frame, synonymous with you.
