Cutler and Gross is proud to introduce Knightsbridge Green, the highly exclusive collection of titanium eyewear handcrafted in Sabae, Japan. 

Revered for its durability and understated lustre, titanium is the pinnacle of exceptional design. It requires utmost skill, composed with the same deliberate care of a practiced calligrapher, the delicate hand of a kintsugi artist or the sharp eye of a tailor.  ​

A study in form, balance and restraint, this collection features two opticals and three sunglasses in aviator, round, oval, and square silhouettes. 

Each style is the culmination of a 300-step process and eight months of devotion to titanium, at the skilled hands of our artisans. Because today, patience is life’s rarest luxury and excellence cannot be rushed.

Deco Rim Wire

A new era for Cutler and Gross. Creative Director Alessandro Marcer looked to the spirit of the Art Deco movement to influence some of the most intricate details in the collection. Each style is finished with meticulous hand-rolled rim wire that transforms the signature Oyster pin into a continuous geometric pattern, celebrating the bold shapes and motifs of early Art Deco architecture, homeware and design.

Oyster Pin Evolution

A page from Cutler and Gross’s history books, the Oyster pin has been at the forefront of eyewear collections since 1969. Both beautiful and functional, the design has permeated sunglass and opticals in various translations ever since. Modern iterations of the motif pulsate throughout the titanium collection, reimaged as an elongated nose bridge, brow bar, delicate nose pads and raised temple tips for a nod to the archive.

For over a century, ZEISS has been the leading name of crafting sun lenses that offer utmost UVA and UVB protection without compromising visual quality. Each sunglass style from the Knightsbridge Green titanium collection features warm and jewel-toned ZEISS sun lenses to provide optimal performance without sacrificing on a refined finish.
