The Role:

A junior digital designer with the passion, attention to detail and drive to deliver best in class brand assets for our channels. Working across multiple projects simultaneously, with a key focus on supporting Brand Comms and Marketing creative functions on a variety of briefs from coming up with digital placements in email to designing templates needed across social media design.

As a true digital native, they will be a crucial player in the design and workflow of web assets for the B2B and B2C site ; refreshes across homepage, landing pages and more, partnering with cross department teams including Sales, Comms and web to drive desired customer behaviour.

As a key member of the Communications team, working with one other graphics designer the position relies on a confident creative with energy, professionalism and collaborative outlook.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, delivery and management of all online assets such as weekly newsletters, website updates, retail newsletters - ensuring brand guidelines are implemented across all projects.
  • Research and develop new templates to keep the Cutler and Gross site and emails looking current and innovative.
  • Work with Communications, Marketing, Sales and design team to design features and engaging editorial content, press packs and mailers and digital Sales catalogues.
  • Design campaign led digital creative from concept stages through to delivery, across multiple platforms (including web, email and social)
  • Work alongside the Graphic Designer in the Brand Communication team as well as our web design agency on website design and updates.
  • Actively seek opportunities to understand better how our customer interacts with the site and mobile and design with a user centred approach.
  • Oversee guideline execution with bespoke requests from our key accounts/stockists.
  • Stay current with graphics, typography, photographic, cultural and fashion trends plus new techniques within the graphic design industry.

Skills required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury fashion graphics and design role with a discerning eye for quality. Experience in eyewear would be a bonus.
  • Ideas driven with the ability to present ideas with creative flair and confidence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong ability with typography
  • Must be highly organised and remain calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines across numerous projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and committed to delivery of best-in-class assets.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in Adobe CC software; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Experience of CMS systems and confident in HTML.
  • A genuine interest in luxury fashion, photography and world of art and design.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Brand Communications team for a Marketing Manager at Cutler and Gross

Reporting to the Global Head of PR and Communications, you will drive and manage the delivery of all brand marketing initiatives globally, from briefing to launch, whilst building relationships with key brand partners, wholesale stockists and stakeholders.

You will work with the brand communications team to deliver marketing campaigns across all channels ensuring all deliverables and KPIs are met. You will work closely with Sales, E-Commerce, Design, Brand PR and Social, and Retail team.

As a key member of the Communications team, the position relies on a confident creative with energy, professionalism, and collaborative outlook.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of long and short-range marketing calendars and planning. Manage the global marketing communications, ensure all business functions, and key stakeholders are updated regularly and approvals achieved
  • Deliver the critical path and manage relationships and communications with agents, distributors, and licence partners, ensuring they have the tools to support our brand at a local level and monitor all partner communications to ensure brand alignment (brand features, use of brand assets and supporting copy/tone of voice)
  • Liaise with Sales, E-commerce, PR, and Retail teams for the timely delivery of high-quality seasonal collateral (i.e., POS) and assets (line sheets, catalogues and look books) prior to the start of the season and international trade shows
  • Work with Head of Comms and Creative Director on seasonal campaign shoot and still life shoots (Italy)
  • Manage and distribute brand marketing budget, obtain authorisation for spend with the CFO and (Head of Comms) and liaison with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communication with wholesale and retail business of image expiration dates and collateral
  • Monitor regular updates and management of all B2B wholesale portals with the Ecommerce Manager.
  • Create a dedicated Retail Marketing strategy to ensure customers are regularly engaged through meaningful brand moments in store globally, through a series of events, instore brand collateral (including window campaigns) and drive product messaging across the stores globally.
  • Develop trade media plans with the Head of Comms and Sales Director and local digital branding campaigns in line with regional priorities to amplify local brand awareness and to drive traffic/sales on and offline.
  • To strengthen the liaison and working relationship with our license partner brands, ensuring the marketing needs of the company are leveraged, prioritised, and met accordingly.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director, Head of Communications and Creative Director to identify strategic brand partnerships and collaborations globally and project lead on campaign execution.
  • Daily liaison with relevant key internal stakeholders, including our retail teams, as well as our wider B2B network and the marketing teams of our partner suppliers such as Essilor.
  • Develop and manage the PR and Marketing Assistant and graphic design team, driving their success and coaching to ensure their progression.
  • Stay current on global creative and market trends and regularly communicate to the relevant business functions.
  • Support with the creation of brand presentations across the business.
  • Implement reporting systems to measure the efficiency and commercial success of campaigns and present these to the business.

Who you are:

  • 8+ years experience in Brand Marketing

The Role:

We are looking for a candidate with relevant practical experience and educated at degree or equivalent, in graphic design or relevant subject. You will have excellent typographic skills and comfortable in both print and digital. A creative problem solver with the skills to use design knowledge to tackle competing objectives in intelligent and practical ways.

The role provides multiple briefs, and the successful candidate must have the ability to expand and develop ideas in a clear and engaging manner across many international cultures, not be afraid to question and investigate to ensure the business needs are met.

As a key member of the Communications team, the position relies on a confident creative with energy, professionalism, and collaborative outlook.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and development of key brand assets, including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining core brand guidelines and executing across all brand touch points, while keeping to tight deadlines
  • Develop design treatments and visual direction for window campaigns (retail and wholesale network globally), seasonal POS, store messaging, event invites and visuals plus international trade shows
  • Designing and making brand presentations, including seasonal retail brand packs, wholesale catalogues, look books and brand book.
  • Packaging design and updates for existing categories, with supplier management
  • Support building content for website and social platforms alongside the digital graphic designer
  • Create and maintain corporate document templates e.g., stationery, business cards, template documents.
  • Gather and define project requirements, estimate project budgets, and define approach for effective timeline delivery
  • Help with preparing impactful and engaging presentations for stakeholders at all levels
  • Build, manage and nurture external relations with suppliers, wholesale network and retail team.
  • Provide guidance and direction for the digital graphic designer

Typical skills:

E-Commerce Manager - Digital

REPORT TO:    Head of Global PR & Communications

Purpose of Job/Key objectives

We are looking for a bright and driven individual to join us and manage our digital channels. The right candidate will have a proven track record in driving successful e-commerce activities with hands-on management of all aspects of the site with the opportunity to contribute to the company’s success, working closely with the CEO, CFO and Global Head of PR and Communications.

 

Description of Duties:

  • Manage and lead strategy for site, improving customer journey and driving conversion and revenue whilst ensuring brand status is maintained at the highest levels
  • Ensure the entire site, including all marketing channels, product, page titles and meta descriptions are optimised and maintained for SEO
  • Plan, manage and deliver, in conjunction with the PR and Communications team, a marketing & promotions calendar in line with key dates and collection launches to be rolled out across the website and social channels
  • Implement all digital marketing PPC, social, and affiliate campaigns, alongside the Head of Global PR & Communications, in line with the online strategy, department budgets and KPIs
  • Work with the in-house graphic designer to ensure image content on the website is regularly updated and refreshed in line with the trading and marketing calendar
  • Continually track the customer journey from acquisition to engagement to optimize the site experience and improve conversion
  • Take ownership of the online customer database, supporting email marketing campaigns and reporting
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting and analysis using insight to drive improvements across the website
  • Provide in depth analysis of website performance, customer shopping behaviour, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Collate, analyse and report on customer feedback from product and website reviews
  • Oversee website development with external IT consultants and form part of the steering committee
  • Propose developments and trade opportunities for the site based on KPIs, industry best practice, and the fast-evolving ecommerce market
  • Manage, develop and grow a team of online customer service and data administrators, currently a team of two
  • Provide feedback and insight to the business on general website performance and customer response to trade initiatives (Customer Events, Sale launch)

Skills required:

Salary:                 £25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience

WORKING HOURS: 5 days out of 7days, Monday to Sunday, 9.30am to 6pm, 37.5 hours per week.

 

Cutler and Gross is seeking enthusiastic trainee Dispensing Opticians to be an integral part of our growing London teams. Cutler and Gross is a next generation independent optician and eyewear manufacturing business.

Founded in 1969 By Tony Gross and Graham Cutler, Cutler and Gross is known for its authoritative, influential frame designs and is well respected by customers and those inside the industry.

 

Key Objectives

To be successful in this role, you will already be studying dispensing optics, be a passionate and driven professional, eager to work with eyewear of the highest quality, and with a focus on delivering a superb customer experience. Additional in-store training will be provided where required.

 

Description of Duties

  • Supply, fit and adjust glasses to a high standard with imagination and flare
  • Use of equipment, including Essilor Visioffice, to take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning
  • To interpret the prescription and to develop a dispense plan, making recommendations on lens type and frame compatibility to clients based on their visual needs and lifestyle
  • Assist with maintaining client electronic records, including email addresses and contact telephone numbers
  • Arrange client appointments using the client management system tools and web booking portal and complete triage protocols
  • To record the results of each clients’ dispense on the system and initiate lens and frame orders electronically to the supplier
  • Advise clients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed
  • Use of a frame tracer to support the ordering of lenses, and fit lenses to frames in store
  • Check lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specification
  • Assist with all stock deliveries to store, booking into system and attaching price tags where required
  • Arrange, maintain and clean shop display with the team in line with visual merchandising guidelines
  • Attend daily and weekly meetings with management
  • Assist with regular stocktakes

Description of Duties

  • Supply, fit and adjust glasses to a high standard with imagination and flare
  • Use of equipment, including Essilor Visioffice, to take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning
  • To interpret the prescription and to develop a dispense plan, making recommendations on lens type and frame compatibility to clients based on their visual needs and lifestyle
  • Assist with maintaining client electronic records, including email addresses and contact telephone numbers
  • Arrange client appointments using the client management system tools and web booking portal and complete triage protocols
  • To record the results of each clients’ dispense on the system and initiate lens and frame orders electronically to the supplier
  • Advise clients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed
  • Use of a frame tracer to support the ordering of lenses, and fit lenses to frames in store
  • Check lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specification
  • Assist with all stock deliveries to store, booking into system and attaching price tags where required
  • Arrange, maintain and clean shop display with the team in line with visual merchandising guidelines
  • Attend daily and weekly meetings with management
  • Assist with regular stocktakes
  • To consistently deliver high quality dispensing and respond to feedback in a positive and constructive way
  • Pro-actively support the running of the practice to operate to its full potential
  • Follow all PPE, Health and Safety and cleanliness guidelines in the in the workplace for clients and staff
  • Additional administrative tasks as required

Skills Required

  • At least 1 years’ pre-graduate experience working as Dispensing Optician
  • Have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good IT literacy - Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook and aptitude to learn new software
  • Have a proven track record in achieving sales targets and building customer relationships
  • A flexible and ‘can do’ working style with a willingness to learn, improve and adapt
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and on own initiative

TERM:                               Permanent, 4 days per week, to include Fridays and Saturdays

CURRENT STORE OPENING:   Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am to 6pm.

 

Purpose of Job/Key objectives

The successful applicant will be a forward thinking, creative, customer focused and commercial optometrist with excellent communication skills. This role will be a key member of the team, performing various tasks to support the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

 

Description of Duties

 

Optometry Tasks

  • Deliver eye examinations to a high standard
  • Examine eyes, using observation, instruments and pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or colour blindness
  • To use various pieces of equipment, to support the examination, including but not limited to phoropters and OCT
  • To record the results of the eye examination on the patient management system and transmit electronically from the system all lens requirements to the supplier
  • Analyse test results and communicate them to the customers
  • Develop a treatment plan, making recommendations to patients based on their visual needs and lifestyle
  • Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
  • Prescribe medications to treat eye diseases where permitted
  • Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factors
  • Consult with and refer patients to ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner if additional medical treatment is determined necessary
  • Provide patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as cataract and laser vision correction, with pre- and post-operative care
  • Develop a rapport with clients and ensure they leave with the best experience
  • Troubleshoot customers having problems and find solutions
  • Be pro-active in the running of the practice by ensuring the practice is operating to its full potential and looking forward to growing the business
  • Stay up to date with frame materials and methods of frame manufacturing
  • Remain up to date with GOC rules and new optical developments
  • Follow all PPE guidelines in the performance of eye examinations
  • To share the relevant information for dispensing to the dispensing team member
  • Additional administrative tasks as required

Purpose of Job/Key objectives

The Data and Reporting Administrator will be responsible for data entry and system integrity across all company databases and online platforms. They will also provide regular reporting to assist the business. An excellent eye for detail and proficient knowledge of Excel essential.

 

Daily Operations:

  • Adding and updating product data across retail, online and wholesale platforms
  • Adding and updating price lists across retail, online and wholesale platforms
  • Ensuring customer and product data is consistent and accurate across all platforms
  • Assisting with testing that needs to be carried out on the B2B and B2C platforms to ensure new features and projects are ready to go live
  • Assisting with testing updates on database software
  • Helping with data entry for the wholesale team – updating customer lists and ensuring customer accuracy
  • Creating reports for the sales team, online team and finance team
  • Helping to report any system or website errors that occur, liaising with external system suppliers where necessary
  • Trying to understand and fix simple errors that have taken place in the system – generally user errors or simple data issues  
  • Provide assistance with the implementation of new systems and ongoing system developments

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 1-year experience with data entry and reporting
  • Business & IT background preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of database structures
