Title:Magento 2 Developer

Location: Cutler and Gross, Unit A, 58-62 White Lion St, London, N1 9PP

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Magento 2 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining both frontend and backend of C&G’s eCommerce B2B and B2C websites using Magento 2 framework. They will work closely with the E-Commerce, Sales and Design teams to understand the needs of the company and develop Magento modules in PHP using best practices. They will also code the Magento templates, design themes and interfaces, and troubleshoot integration issues.

Responsibilities:

  • • Meet with the E-Comm, Wholesale and Design teams to discuss the needs of the company.
  • • Develop and maintain Magento 2 eCommerce websites.
  • • Coding of the Magento templates.
  • • Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
  • • Designing themes and interfaces.
  • • Troubleshooting integration issues
  • • Updating website features and security patches.
  • Requirements:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • • Advanced knowledge of Magento 2, JavaScript, WordPress, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
  • • Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
  • • Understanding of B2B technologies and processes.
  • • Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
  • • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, and A/B Testing.
  • • Strong attention to detail.
  • • Ability to project-manage and work to strict deadlines

Current Store Opening: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am to 6:00pm

The Role

The successful applicant will be a forward thinking, creative, customer focused and commercial Clinical Manager Optometrist with excellent communication skills. This role will be a key member of the team, performing various tasks to support the delivery of exceptional service to our customers and to grow the Clinical side of the practice.

Description of Duties

    Clinical Manager Tasks

  • • To act as the point of clinical expertise for the team and clients.
  • • Take the lead for all client complex eye conditions, including with assisting with the dispense where required
  • • Provide support and training for the team in ophthalmic health where relevant
  • • Act as a mentor to all trainee dispensing opticians
  • Optometry Tasks

  • • Deliver eye examinations to a high standard
  • • Examine eyes, using observation, instruments, pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or colour blindness
  • • To use various pieces of equipment, to support the examination, including but not limited to phoropters and OCT
  • • To record the results of the eye examination on the patient management system and transmit electronically from the system all lens requirements ahead of’ face to face’ handover with the customer and dispenser
  • • Analyse test results and communicate them to the customers
  • • Develop a treatment plan, making recommendations to patients based on their visual needs and lifestyle
  • • Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
  • • Prescribe medications to treat eye diseases where permitted
  • • Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factors
  • • Consult with and refer patients to ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner if additional medical treatment is determined necessary
  • • Provide patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as cataract and laser vision correction, with pre- and post-operative care
  • • Develop a rapport with clients and ensure they leave with the best experience
  • • Troubleshoot customers having problems and find solutions
  • • Be pro-active in the running of the practice by ensuring the practice is operating to its full potential and looking forward to growing the business
  • • Stay up to date with frame materials and methods of frame manufacturing
  • • Remain up to date with GOC rules and new optical developments
  • • Follow all PPE guidelines in the performance of eye examinations
  • Dispensing Tasks

  • • To share the relevant information for dispensing to the dispensing team member
  • • Give advice to patients on lens type, frames, and styling
  • • Take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning
  • • Advise patients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed
  • • Select, manage, and order a range of optical products
  • • Where required, order lenses from prescription houses
  • • Use of frame tracer to support the ordering of lenses, and fit lenses to frames in store
  • • Check lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specifications
  • • Arrange and maintain shop display with the team in line with visual merchandising guidelines
  • • Supervise unqualified staff when required
  • • Additional administrative tasks as required

Il candidato, che riporterà al responsabile di reparto, si occuperà dell'utilizzo di macchine utensili a controllo numerico computerizzato per la produzione dei vari componenti dell'occhiale, del carico e scarico di pezzi e/o di macchinari e del controllo qualità del prodotto in uscita.
