Marketing Manager

SALARY: up to £45K DOE


The Role:

An exciting opportunity with Cutler and Gross has arisen for a Marketing manager with a minimum of three years previous experience. If successful, you will be expected to trade marketing requirements across our wholesale, e-commerce, and retail channels, as well as be deliver and manage the primary lead marketing contact for our license collaborations with Paul Smith and Kingsman.

You will already be a meticulous Marketing native who can effectively prioritise projects and provide solutions to opportunities. The marketing manager will be responsible for developing a strong working relationship with our licence brands and global partners ensuring that Cutler and Gross stays on track with the critical path, essential to meeting these partners deadlines. You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple work streams and happy to work as part of a small knit team.


Key Responsibilities of the Trade Marketing Manager  

  • Manage and deliver the critical path associated with agent & distributors requests for the wholesale markets, in line with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the relevant suppliers and license brands for seasonal assets fulfilling the date deadlines as set in the company critical path.
  • Liaise with Sales, E-commerce, and Retail teams for the timely delivery of high-quality seasonal collateral (i.e.: POS) and assets (i.e.: line sheets, catalogues and look books) prior to the start of the season and for trade shows.
  • Obtain authorisation for spend with the Global Head of Marketing & PR and direct liaison with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communication with wholesale and retail business of image expiration dates and collateral
  • Regular updates and management of all B2B wholesale portals.
  • Management of the seasonal collateral requirements of Cutler and Gross’ international trade/trunk show calendar and support of agent’s localised shows and their local PR support.
  • Work closely with the Creative and Content Designer to deliver window campaigns and instore visuals/communications for Cutler and Gross retail stores.
  • Manage trade advertising calendar and deliverables.
  • Development of B2B brand products for trade shows.
  • Work with Sales and the Creative & Content Designer on the development of a regular B2B trade channel communication update.
  • To strengthen the liaison and working relationship with our license partner brands, ensuring the marketing needs of the company are leveraged, prioritised, and met accordingly.
  • Daily liaison with relevant key internal stakeholders, including our retail teams, as well as our wider B2B network and the marketing teams of our partner suppliers, such as Essilor.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Marketing & PR to adhere to trade marketing deliverables in line with the overall Marketing & PR strategy, working to budgets and timelines.


Skills required:

  • Experienced in brand marketing and management of partners. Previous experience working in eyewear would be a bonus.

E-Commerce Customer Service Officer


Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Hours: 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Reporting To: Sales Support Manager


The Role 

An exciting opportunity is available to deliver e-commerce customer service working within our Sales Support team.

Cutler and Gross are looking for someone who is comfortable to communicate to customers of all ages and backgrounds by telephone, email and any other digital means, including LiveChat.

The service offered to our customers must be prompt and responsive and a proven track record in customer service is required, whether in a face to face retail setting or over the telephone.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with our Digital Marketing Executive to assist with merchandising of the website.

It is extremely important that visitors buying from our online store receive outstanding customer care as if they were face to face in one of our stores. Thus, a keen eye and appreciation of our product and a willingness to gain as much knowledge of our unique identity is desirable, product training will be given.

We are looking for someone who has a strong sense of responsibility to ensure all aspects of the online customer service are positive.


Key Responsibilities of the E-Commerce Customer Service Officer 

  • Processing orders on a daily basis and liaising with the logistics team to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries
  • Converting calls and emails into sales
  • Replying to all enquiries, either through the online mailbox, Live Chat or telephone
  • Processing payments on the online system and on the phone
  • Processing returns and refunds
  • Assist with tracking shipments where required
  • Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports including Sales & Returns Reports
  • Supporting the marketing team with customer social media requests and online promotions
  • Assist with and suggest stock replenishments liaising with the logistics team
  • General management of online stock
  • Uploading/making product available
  • To attend staff meetings and training as required
  • To observe the company’s Fire and Health & Safety Policies and use any PPE equipment provided
  • Adhere to company procedures as set out in the Employee Handbook
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time


Skills Required

  • Good IT literacy including the use of websites on a Magento platform
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, and an aptitude to learn new software
  • Experience with Sage Pay would also be beneficial

Wholesale Sales Support Assistant (English and German Speaking)


We are looking for a qualified Sales support specialist to join our team. You will provide support to Sales Agents and Distributors and respond to customer and prospect queries. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service. You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal-oriented. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills.

  • German language fluency at a business level
  • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems would be preferable
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Experience with Inventory & Accounting Platforms, for example Spacenet, Exchequer, SAP, Sage would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
