The Role 

We are looking for a new Sales Support Assistant to join the dynamic Sales Team at Cutler and Gross at our Head Office in London. You will provide support to the Sales Agents, distributors, and customers. The individual we are looking for will be customer focused and display an ability to resolve queries promptly and efficiently whilst having a proactive approach to their work.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Delivering a high level of service to our global wholesale customer base in a professional and friendly manner in line with our Service Level Agreements. 
  • Working closely with our Logistics Team in London and Italy to ensure all customers orders are delivered in a timely manner. 
  • Providing a high level of support to our Sales Agents dealing with any queries promptly.  
  • Answering phone calls and emails as well as having video calls with Sales Agents and customers when required. 
  • Tracking the status of customer deliveries. 
  • Running weekly Sales and Back Order reports for the Sales Agents and Management Team. 
  • Developing your product knowledge to encourage brand awareness and help drive sales.
  • Acting as an advocate for our B2B Platform and aiding customers when using the site.  
  • Providing after sales support to all customers. 
  • Managing customer returns and raising credit notes. 
  • Potential for work related travel to trade shows in Europe based on experience.  

Experience 

  • 1+ years’ experience in Customer Service or a Customer Success role. 
  • Good IT Literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel is desirable and must be comfortable learning to use new software. 
  • Proficiency in numeracy. 
  • Additional languages including French, German, Italian or Spanish are desirable but not a requirement. 
  • Experience working in Wholesale or Fashion is desirable but not a requirement.

Digital Graphic Designer

The Role

A junior digital designer with the passion, attention to detail and drive to deliver best in class brand assets for our channels. Working across multiple projects simultaneously, with a key focus on supporting Brand Comms and Marketing creative functions on a variety of briefs from coming up with digital placements in email to designing templates needed across social media design.

As a true digital native, they will be a crucial player in the design and workflow of web assets for the B2 and B2C site ; refreshes across homepage, landing pages and more, partnering with cross department teams including Sales, Comms and web to drive desired customer behaviour.

As a key member of the Communications team, working with one other graphics designer the position relies on a confident creative with energy, professionalism and collaborative outlook.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, delivery and management of all online assets such as weekly newsletters, website updates, retail newsletters - ensuring brand guidelines are implemented across all projects.
  • Research and develop new templates to keep the Cutler and Gross site and emails looking current and innovative.
  • Work with Communications, Marketing, Sales and design team to design features and engaging editorial content, press packs and mailers and digital Sales catalogues.
  • Design campaign led digital creative from concept stages through to delivery, across multiple platforms (including web, email and social)
  • Work alongside the Graphic Designer in the Brand Communication team as well as our web design agency on website design and updates.
  • Actively seek opportunities to understand better how our customer interacts with the site and mobile and design with a user centred approach.
  • Oversee guideline execution with bespoke requests from our key accounts/stockists.
  • Stay current with graphics, typography, photographic, cultural and fashion trends plus new techniques within the graphic design industry.

Skills required

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury fashion graphics and design role with a discerning eye for quality. Experience in eyewear would be a bonus.
  • Ideas driven with the ability to present ideas with creative flair and confidence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong ability with typography
  • Must be highly organised and remain calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines across numerous projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and committed to delivery of best-in-class assets.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in Adobe CC software; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.

Principali mansioni 

Il candidato opererà su centri di lavoro a controllo numerico a cinque assi, dedicandosi al settaggio e attrezzaggio della macchina, alla messa a punto e realizzazione dei pezzi di prova con grado di autonomia crescente. Nello specifico si richiede di saper: 

  • Leggere e interpretare la documentazione tecnica e i dettagli tecnici.
  • Settare macchine/impianti a controllo numerico in autonomia e rispettando le norme di sicurezza.

  • Predisporre gli strumenti per l’attrezzaggio.
  • Attrezzare la macchina secondo le prescrizioni, le tempistiche e le specifiche tecniche previste.
  • Eseguire la messa a punto della macchina.
  • Avviare la macchina per le prove di lavorazione.
  • Verificare la qualità del primo pezzo prodotto attraverso misurazioni e controlli, correggendo eventuali difetti di funzionamento della macchina.
  • In fase di lavorazione essere in grado di correggere eventuali scostamenti per rientrare nei parametri standard in autonomia.

Competenze 

  • Qualifica professionale / Diploma di estrazione tecnica.

To be successful in this role, you will already be studying dispensing optics, be a passionate and driven professional, eager to work with eyewear of the highest quality, and with a focus on delivering a superb customer experience. Additional in-store training will be provided where required.

Optometrist

REPORT TO:                     Store Manager

LOCATION:                       Cutler and Gross Bath, 9 Bridge Street, Bath BA2 4AS

TERM:                               Permanent, 4 days per week, to include Fridays and Saturdays

CURRENT STORE OPENING:   Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am to 6pm.

 

Purpose of Job/Key objectives

The successful applicant will be a forward thinking, creative, customer focused and commercial optometrist with excellent communication skills. This role will be a key member of the team, performing various tasks to support the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

 

Description of Duties

 

Optometry Tasks

  • Deliver eye examinations to a high standard
  • Examine eyes, using observation, instruments and pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or colour blindness
  • To use various pieces of equipment, to support the examination, including but not limited to phoropters and OCT
  • To record the results of the eye examination on the patient management system and transmit electronically from the system all lens requirements to the supplier
  • Analyse test results and communicate them to the customers
  • Develop a treatment plan, making recommendations to patients based on their visual needs and lifestyle
  • Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
  • Prescribe medications to treat eye diseases where permitted
  • Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factors
  • Consult with and refer patients to ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner if additional medical treatment is determined necessary
  • Provide patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as cataract and laser vision correction, with pre- and post-operative care
  • Develop a rapport with clients and ensure they leave with the best experience
  • Troubleshoot customers having problems and find solutions
  • Be pro-active in the running of the practice by ensuring the practice is operating to its full potential and looking forward to growing the business
  • Stay up to date with frame materials and methods of frame manufacturing
  • Remain up to date with GOC rules and new optical developments
  • Follow all PPE guidelines in the performance of eye examinations

Purpose of Job/Key objectives

The Data and Reporting Administrator will be responsible for data entry and system integrity across all company databases and online platforms. They will also provide regular reporting to assist the business. An excellent eye for detail and proficient knowledge of Excel essential.

 

Daily Operations:

  • Adding and updating product data across retail, online and wholesale platforms
  • Adding and updating price lists across retail, online and wholesale platforms
  • Ensuring customer and product data is consistent and accurate across all platforms
  • Assisting with testing that needs to be carried out on the B2B and B2C platforms to ensure new features and projects are ready to go live
  • Assisting with testing updates on database software
  • Helping with data entry for the wholesale team – updating customer lists and ensuring customer accuracy
  • Creating reports for the sales team, online team and finance team
  • Helping to report any system or website errors that occur, liaising with external system suppliers where necessary
  • Trying to understand and fix simple errors that have taken place in the system – generally user errors or simple data issues  
  • Provide assistance with the implementation of new systems and ongoing system developments

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 1-year experience with data entry and reporting
  • Business & IT background preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of database structures
  • Detail Orientated
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making
  • Ability to perform duties independently
  • Analysis & Reporting
  • Basic SQL knowledge desirable but not necessary
