The Role:

A mid-weight graphic designer with the passion, attention to detail and drive to deliver best in class brand assets for the business. Working closely with the Digital Graphic Designer and PR and Brand Marketing team to deliver outstanding design work that engages our audiences and sets us apart in the luxury industry.

You will have excellent typographic skills and be comfortable in both print and digital. A creative problem solver with the skills to use design thinking to tackle competing objectives in intelligent and practical ways.

The role provides multiple briefs, and the successful candidate must have the ability to expand and develop ideas in a clear and engaging manner across many international cultures, not be afraid to question and investigate to ensure the business needs are met.

As a key member of the Communications team, the position relies on a confident creative with energy, professionalism, and collaborative outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Maintaining core brand guidelines and executing across all brand touch points, while keeping to tight deadlines
  • • Develop window campaigns and design treatments for retail stores and wider global wholesale network globally.
  • • Develop designs for seasonal POS, store messaging, event invites, print advertisements, and visuals plus international trade shows
  • • Designing and producing brand presentations, including seasonal retail brand packs, wholesale catalogues, look books and brand book.
  • • Packaging design and updates for brand, collaborations and partnerships and managing suppliers
  • • Support building content for website and social platforms alongside the digital graphic designer
  • • Create and maintain corporate document templates e.g. stationery, business cards, template documents
  • • Gather and define project requirements, estimate project budgets, and define approach for effective timeline delivery
  • • Help with preparing impactful and engaging presentations for stakeholders at all levels
  • • Build, manage and nurture external relations with suppliers, wholesale network and retail team
  • • Work closely with the digital graphic designer and support on workflow for the graphics team
  • Typical Skills:

    • • Experience successfully managing a variety of graphics projects from beginning to end
    • • Experience in design applications e.g., Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) and workflow management documents- Trello or similar
    • • Dedication to excellence in every output delivered
    • • Strong understanding of typography, colour, and layout with a keen interest in graphic design and be up to date with current photographic, cultural and fashion trends
    • • Self-motivated and solution orientated with a keen attention to detail

Salary: Up to £27,000 depending on experience

Working Hours: 5 days out of 7 days, Monday to Sunday, 9.30am to 6pm, 37.5 hours per week.

Description of Duties

  • • Greet and serve all customers providing a friendly service and delivering a full and memorable experience.
  • • Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer, every time. Whether by email, over the phone or in person in the store.

  • • Arrange, maintain, and clean shop display with the team in line with visual merchandising guidelines.
  • • Attend briefing sessions as directed by your line manager.
  • • Assist with regular stocktakes.
  • • Assist in controlling shrinkage by attentive action on the shop floor, merchandise handling, accident prevention and careful operation of the till and administration policies and procedures.
  • • Pro-actively support the running of the store to operate to its full potential and contribute to the store reaching its monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

The Role

The successful applicant will be a forward thinking, creative, customer focused and commercial Clinical Manager Optometrist with excellent communication skills. This role will be a key member of the team, performing various tasks to support the delivery of exceptional service to our customers and to grow the Clinical side of the practice.

Description of Duties

    Clinical Manager Tasks

  • • To act as the point of clinical expertise for the team and clients.
  • • Take the lead for all client complex eye conditions, including with assisting with the dispense where required
  • • Provide support and training for the team in ophthalmic health where relevant
  • • Act as a mentor to all trainee dispensing opticians
  • Optometry Tasks

  • • Deliver eye examinations to a high standard
  • • Examine eyes, using observation, instruments, pharmaceutical agents, to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or colour blindness
  • • To use various pieces of equipment, to support the examination, including but not limited to phoropters and OCT
  • • To record the results of the eye examination on the patient management system and transmit electronically from the system all lens requirements ahead of’ face to face’ handover with the customer and dispenser
  • • Analyse test results and communicate them to the customers
  • • Develop a treatment plan, making recommendations to patients based on their visual needs and lifestyle
  • • Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
  • • Prescribe medications to treat eye diseases where permitted
  • • Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factors
  • • Consult with and refer patients to ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner if additional medical treatment is determined necessary
  • • Provide patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as cataract and laser vision correction, with pre- and post-operative care
  • • Develop a rapport with clients and ensure they leave with the best experience
  • • Troubleshoot customers having problems and find solutions
  • • Be pro-active in the running of the practice by ensuring the practice is operating to its full potential and looking forward to growing the business
  • • Stay up to date with frame materials and methods of frame manufacturing
  • • Remain up to date with GOC rules and new optical developments
  • • Follow all PPE guidelines in the performance of eye examinations
  • Dispensing Tasks

  • • To share the relevant information for dispensing to the dispensing team member
  • • Give advice to patients on lens type, frames, and styling
  • • Take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning
  • • Advise patients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed
  • • Select, manage, and order a range of optical products
  • • Where required, order lenses from prescription houses
  • • Use of frame tracer to support the ordering of lenses, and fit lenses to frames in store
  • • Check lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specifications
  • • Arrange and maintain shop display with the team in line with visual merchandising guidelines
  • • Supervise unqualified staff when required
  • • Additional administrative tasks as required

Il candidato, che riporterà al responsabile di reparto, si occuperà dell'utilizzo di macchine utensili a controllo numerico computerizzato per la produzione dei vari componenti dell'occhiale, del carico e scarico di pezzi e/o di macchinari e del controllo qualità del prodotto in uscita.
