Opening in 2007, the Landmark boutique was designed by Hong Kong-native Tom Wong who ensured a seamless marriage of the Cutler and Gross design ethos with an enticing environment representative of this spectacular, characterful and exhilarating city.

The shop avoids spatial elements which would overpower one’s experience of the eyewear and offers a selection of current collection and pieces from the vintage archive.

Following the design of the Cutler and Gross shops globally, the Harbour City location follows the clean design aesthetic, creating an environment where the glasses are the stars of the show, placing quality and design before conspicuous statements.

The boutique showcases all new collections, extensive current styles and pieces from the Cutler and Gross vintage collection.

The Hong Kong shops are also the only stores in the world to offer a special Asian fit eyewear collection.

A mecca for eyewear, our New York flagship is a permanent exhibition of more than 4000 handmade Cutler and Gross frames dating from 1969 to present, including our collaborative frames with designers such as Giles Deacon. Inspired by the charm of NYC’s Cast Iron District, designer Mani Mani of Fishtnk Design Factory created the interior with a minimal concept influenced by artist Donald’s Judd’s “progressions." Spatial elements were considered to ensure the eyewear remains the focal point.

Originally designed by architect Piers Gough, the flagship store boasts a clean, minimal design with white displays. Tony Gross’s love of design is reflected in the presence of a Jasper Morrison Thinking Man’s Chair. The shop’s eye consulting room is found behind the main shop space, and remains in its original form from 1969, used by the in-house optometrist. Full prescription service is available including the latest technologies in optics.

The first floor of the flagship store houses a decadent mirrored space displaying a selection of Cutler and Gross collaborative frames created with designers such as Maison Martin Margiela and Giles Deacon. This space also offers the bespoke service. Here the client can meet with our stylists to create a one-off frame from our extensive archive.

Since the late 1950s, Tony Gross has collected a vast array of eyewear sourced from around the world. If the product was to be antique, delicate and precious, then the surroundings had to be modern and unassuming. In 2001, we opened the vintage shop where Mr. Gross’s taste and attention to detail are all part of the shop's continuing appeal.

Today, Cutler and Gross vintage frames are still a heady mix of colours, materials, shapes and eccentricity. But what matters most to Cutler and Gross is provenance—the specifics of design and a frame’s original use from our inception in 1969.

The store remains a constant source of inspiration for international designers, architects, art collectors, and discerning eyewear enthusiasts.

Located in the upscale shopping district of Yorkville, the Toronto flagship solidifies our brand’s strong ties with Canada, and is home to our collaborative collections with Canadian designer Erdem Moralioglu.

Visionary architect Mani Mani of Fishtnk Design Factory designed the interior with a concept paying tribute to the design of the Knightsbridge flagship store. The store also houses a bespoke suite, a room for the bespoke service, all in a seductively crisp white palate, laced with a British sense of luxury. The store's famous Bookseat was designed from the sensible observation that some design objects could do more than one thing at a time.

Cutler and Gross Tehran is an exclusive showroom in the heart of the city. By appointment only, it is here that complete privacy is provided for the client in ultra luxe surroundings. Here they can choose their frames from the vast and varied collections including an extensive display of Cutler and Gross vintage pieces.

The clean, minimal design aesthetic comes to life in the showroom’s bespoke suite, where clients meet one-on-one with the Cutler and Gross team to design a completely one-off frame, handmade by the Cutler and Gross artisans in Italy.
