Phase 2 of Project 0734 with London College of Fashion

In the second phase of Cutler and Gross Project 0734 with London College of Fashion, the four finalists visited our showroom to present their submissions and design work to our team. This gave them the chance to walk us through their research methods, their inspiration and how the Cutler and Gross brand heritage and ethos impacted their design aesthetic and product development.

The students were also keen to speak about the iconic detailing on our model 0734 including the exposed pins and keyhole bridge, and how they maintained the frame’s key design elements while playing with texture, materials and technical elements.

The four finalists will be featured in the window of the Cutler and Gross vintage store at 7 Knightsbridge Green for two weeks from the 13th of August.
